Here is the first issue of fallow, a magazine that my partner Ian and I have been working on over the last few months. Ian has been running Fallow Media, an experimental online publishing platform for about ten years now, so this journal is an extension of that. I’m so happy with how it came out – the first issue features new fiction by Oisin Fagan, Chris Beausang, Patrick Nathan, poems by Ellen Dillon, Eva Griffin, and Wayne Koestenbaum, and essays from Helen Charman, Rhian Sasseen and Greg Gerke. There are also interviews with Gabriel Josipovici and Pascale Sardin.
We are launching it with a small party in Books Upstairs, Dublin on 10th April at 6pm, which is free to attend and will have readings and wine (and copies of the journal onsale.) Please feel free to join us!
You can also order it online here, or subscribe here. Yay I’m so proud of this little journal which Ian made look so beautiful and was so happy to work on the poems and interview with Pascale.
Please spread the word with anyone who you think might also like it!
Thank you for reading, enjoy the Spring and I hope you are managing to find pockets of resistance with the terror.
Love Maija
PS, as ever: recognise and resist fascism, free Palestine and take care of your friends, your comrades and your strangers.
Woohoo!
